Windows Phone 7 is launching shortly. Martha Rotter will introduce you to the new and unique platform while walking you through building phone applications and games from scratch using Visual Studio 2010 and Blend 4. We’ll also cover the new Windows Phone Marketplace, how to deploy applications, etc.
This is a 300-level talk and there are prizes and giveaways for both ALT.NET and MTUG Dublin members. We’ll also talk about the Ireland and Northern Ireland app-building contest and lab days so that you can test and deploy your Windows Phone 7 applications. Note: Some people I talked to about this were interested in actually playing around with a phone, there are going to be devices present on the day (none to give away, sorry) .
